Enter the grantor, the attorney (agent), the powers granted and the duration, set the governing law, and a power of attorney template appears instantly. Edit it, copy it, print it or download it as a text file. This is a blank template, not legal advice and it does not create a lawyer–client relationship — signing, witnessing and notarisation rules differ by jurisdiction, so have a licensed lawyer review it before you sign — and your details never leave your browser. 100% Local
How to Use the Power of Attorney Generator
Enter your own name as the grantor, the name of the person you are appointing as your attorney (agent), and describe the powers you are granting. Set the duration and governing law, then press Generate. The preview updates as you type.
What to enter
Grantor, Attorney and Powers granted are required and appear throughout the document.
Duration and Governing law are written into the clauses; leave them blank and a neutral placeholder is used instead.
Powers granted finishes the sentence "The Grantor authorises the Attorney to …", so write it as an action, for example "manage my bank account and pay bills".
Signing, witnessing and notarisation
Many jurisdictions require a power of attorney to be signed, witnessed or notarised in a particular way before it is valid, and some powers (such as real estate or medical decisions) have extra rules. This is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Have a licensed lawyer prepare the final version and tell you how to execute it.

This is a general-purpose template, not legal advice, and it does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Signing, witnessing and notarisation rules vary by jurisdiction and change over time, so always consult a licensed lawyer and review the finished document before relying on it.
